Promoting Comfort & Focus with Flexible Seating

Help me give my students a comfortable learning environment that allows for choices and empowerment throughout the school day. Flexible seating is just one way to create a welcoming and friendly environment for all types of learners.

My Project

Flexible seating not only allows younger learners to have autonomy in their everyday life, but also provides a comfortable environment that promotes focusing skills.

My goal is to provide my students with various learning needs, a way to engage with their learning that is not sitting in an old-fashion chair under a desk.

Giving students the space to fidget and move allows for learning to continue for longer lengths of time.

My students come from various backgrounds and come to school with very diverse needs. They are all so individually unique and learn in very different ways. Although they all can benefit from alternative seating in the classroom!
