My Project
My Pre-K classroom was recently opened due to an increase in enrollment. Therefore, we inherited a room that wasn't previously occupied and has minimal supplies. My students enjoy learning and engaging in play but, what they love most is creating things. In my preschool classroom, learning is centered on hands on activities that allow students to use a variety of materials to enhance their learning. They especially love arts and crafts. Students enjoy painting, and creating works of art with many different materials, i.e., boxes, stickers, popsicle sticks, etc. I want to continue to encourage their creativity. Having access to a variety of materials to use in their arts and crafts projects will continue to support their learning and further encourage their enthusiasm.
