We are always looking for ways to promote reading. That includes updating books, displays, signage, and rewards for reading challenges.
We have seen that our students really enjoy food and fidget prizes.
This year we had over 350 students participating in our reading challenge. They read over 1200 books.
To help encourage our students to read we do a reading challenge. We offer prizes for each book they read along the way. The goal is to get to at least 10 books or more by the end of the year. The book must meet one of the Reading Challenge Bingo squares & be more than 150 pages. We had over 68 students complete 10 or more books. We look forward to growing these numbers next year.
