FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Larsen's classroom raised $499

My Project
My students are 18-22 year old who are diagnosed with autism. I like to give them social emotional learning (SEL) resources and art supplies, aimed at improving their mental health and emotional well-being.
Special needs students often face unique challenges that can impact their emotional and mental health.
Traditional academic approaches may not always address their emotional development, leading to increased stress and decreased engagement. SEL resources are designed to help students understand and manage their emotions, develop positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.
With teachers pay teachers gift cards, I can purchase SEL resources appropriate to their level including interactive tools and activities designed to build emotional resilience and social skills. With printer paper, I can print these resources so each student can have their own copies. In addition, I would like to incorporate art activities that will allow for creative expression and emotional development.
My goals for this project are Improved emotional regulation, enhanced self-esteem, and social skill development. SEL resources will equip students with strategies to manage stress and anxiety more effectively.
Your support will make a significant difference in the lives of our special needs students, providing them with the tools they need to thrive both emotionally and academically.
