My Project

My students would like to have these book pouches so that they can take classroom books home with them. Reading at home will promote literacy success and foster a love for literature. The opportunity to have access to quality literature is key to reading success.

The goals for my project is to have book pouches that will protect the books that I send home for my students to read.

They pouches will provide a way for the students to carry the books carefully. Too often students put the books loosely in their book bags and then the books are at risk for damage or loss.

My students are special and unique with a variety of interests and reading abilities. I want to provide them as much opportunity to read quality literature not only in my classroom during the school day, but also at home with their parents.
