I currently have 56 students in my fourth-grade class. My students are great students who have a love for technology, reading, writing, science, math, and social studies. They are very excited about learning, and I want to make the class interactive. I want to help them succeed in their challenging environment. I teach an inclusion class. I have four students that are autistic in my class.
The students in my classroom are a diverse group of children who come from intricate family backgrounds.
Our school is located across the street from two homeless shelters for families. It is an upstart program that helps students and their families get help to find permanent housing. I teach at a low-income school and in a classroom full of eager learners who are enthusiastic about coming to school every day!
My students are in the final stages of their digital art projects. Each student had to pick their own wild animal and use a computer to design it. A few of my students drew digital jaguars, tigers, and lions, They have to create digital animals and a three page report on a book of their choice. We currently don't have any ink in our printer. The ink ran out last school year. My students are so eager to print their animal book reports.
When projects are in color they attract more attention, and that will give my students an extra boost of confidence when they are presenting their book reports to the class.
