Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Some of our students do not have access to computers at home and must get familiar with technology in the classroom. This projector will allow us to bring technology into the lives of students who need it!

We are a second grade class in a K-8 school in an urban environment in Chicago, Illinois.

We want to bring all the resources any middle class suburban school would have into our room as well. Our kids LOVE to learn and especially love science! They cheer for learning videos and extra work! They want to learn and deserve every opportunity to have the best resources.

My Project

With a classroom projector we can watch science videos and conduct experiments with step by step guides. Our scholars jump at the chance to do their own research and we will be able to give them a chance to see their research on the big screen with a projector. They can watch educational videos and watch some of my favorite old school Schoolhouse Rock videos!

It is so important for all students to receive equal opportunities in education.

Our scholars are thirsty for all the tools and resources the schools in the suburbs receive and deserve the chance to learn in every way possible. We appreciate your support.
