Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Technology engages my students in ways I never imagined. We use the projector with our document camera to allow students to teach, inspire and present. Since ours broke we have been without our Brainpop, Youtube and PBSkids. We didn't realize how important it was until it was gone.

My innovative, tech savvy students are creative and inventive.

With a new LCD projector we can go on virtual field trips and meet new people. The workplace requires presentation capable people and my students work everyday to learn to speak and display what they are learning.

My Project

We will use our LCD projector to show our plays we record in class. In conjunction with our document camera we share our thinking in reading and math. With our Ipad we use Brainpop, PBS kids, and Youtube to understand hard concepts. We need a projector to make sharing easier and to get our thinking across.

My classroom will have more engaged students with an LCD Projector.

I will be able to offer diverse learning platforms and create opportunities for students to share their thinking.
