Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach anatomy and physiology to 21 extremely gifted 11th graders in Progress High School's 'pre-med' program. They are in the second year of the program which includes going on rounds with doctors and nurses at the local hospital after school. The kids are many of Progress High School's brightest science students who are working to enter into medicine as a career and are currently studying a curriculum which is largely college level. The internet is bursting with multimedia resources on this subject and the students being quite computer savvy already, could start preparing Power Point presentations in stead of the old school poster paper projects. I can't say enough about the great students who you would be helping, they are truly worthy of your generosity.
