My class is a melting pot of diverse personalities, urban backgrounds, and sometimes conflicting mindsets. The common bond is our love for education and our constant will to strive for exciting, memorable, and challenging ways to retain what is learned.
Their innately quizzical minds are always searching for new stimuli and platforms to learn from!
We hold each other accountable via social contracts and constructive words
of encouragement at all times throughout the day!
There are many amazing things happening in the world today, and my goal is
to expose my scholars to as much as possible!
This donation will change the way I provide daily math instruction in my 3rd-grade classroom. With the use of a projector, my students will benefit by participating in powerpoint presentations related to the problems I teach in math, alongside the paper and pencil method we currently use.
The Adapter Converter Dongle and Projector will be the first piece of technology in my classroom, as well as the first piece of interactive technology most of my students will experience!
Many of my students are visual learners and a projector will help them visually engage in the material being taught. My students deserve the opportunity to learn in a classroom that takes part in the increasingly technological world around them.
I am requesting a projector because although it is a small step, I believe the opportunity to learn from hands-on technology will provide my students with essential skills they need to transition into the postgraduate workforce and beyond.
