Projecting Our Learning

My students need a document camera that will project picture books, math manipulatives, and more! This document camera will help all of my students state engaged in their learning.

"New technology is common, new thinking is rare." - Sir Peter Blake. This document camera will help my students think in new ways and engage in lessons in exciting and new ways.

I am a kindergarten teacher in an urban school in Indiana.

My school is made up of many different types of students. Our school community includes students living in poverty, students with special needs, and students who are learning English as a new language. Our goal is to give students new experiences and to foster a love of learning.

My Project

Document cameras are a cornerstone in many classrooms today. Students are visual learners and need to be able to clearly see the content to interact and learn from it. This document camera will allow me to project picture books, math manipulatives, and more, onto my white board that student can then interact, see, and learn from. This will take our learning to a whole new level!

With this product, I will engage my kindergartners in a way that we have not yet been able to experience.

Using this document camera will make all of the difference for my learners. Students will enjoy sharing their own work with our class, as well as, benefit from the sharing of other students.
