Projecting Our Learning! A Projector for Our Classroom
My students need an Epson projector so that we can project our learning for the class, and share our thinking!
This project expired on June 12, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Our PREPsters are truly amazing. Each day, they persevere by engaging in rigorous instruction through an extended day of learning activities. They are truly on a mission to succeed in college and be leaders in their communities. 85% of our students live in San Francisco, and 15% commute from all over the Bay Area, some as far as 54 miles away! Our students deserve the best instruction and they need access to technology and resources that will help them learn each day. They CAN and WILL achieve with the right tools, and we know that our program, along with the right technology, will ensure that each and every PREPster receives the best education.
With a little boost, we can elevate our instruction with a new projector.
Having a classroom projector will allow us to not only model for students, but will allow them to share their thinking with the entire class. Your support will directly help our classroom take learning to the next level and will ensure that our PREPsters have what they need to succeed!
This projector will make a huge difference in our classroom, as it will help us project short videos, models, and share our work with each other. We'll be able to watch, analyze, and discuss our learning on a much deeper level!
For example, we'll be able to watch short clips around the history of the Great Depression, show our mathematical tape diagram models, and showcase our student work to solve complex word problems.
We truly need a projector to take our learning up a notch, and allow all PREPsters in our classroom to have access to the learning they need and deserve.
