My Students

My new group of kiddos is eager and ready to learn. I have two different groups of students, totaling 48 (or more) students. Every student tends to learn better with visual examples, as well as, being able to participate in the lessons at hand. The fourth graders are all amazing and hard-working students. They have learned to problem solve, make friends, and master their everyday skills. With the help of some much-needed classroom supplies, I have hopes to create a more entertaining and interactive classroom for them this school year.

My Project

This year, I'm not just moving grades and classrooms, I am moving schools as well. The new environment in which I am taking over has limited space for centers and whole-group activities. Using a doc cam and projector will better help the needs of every student during both whole and small groups, especially in the Reading and Writing blocks. By incorporating a doc cam and projector, students can visually see the material being taught, follow along using guided notes, as well as, see concrete examples of what is expected of them. Using these skills will help enhance the learning of every fourth grader in my classroom.
