My Project

My second-grade students are eager, curious, and full of potential. They come to school ready to learn, but many face the daily challenge of not having the basic supplies they need to succeed. Our school is a Title I school in a low-income community, and many families are unable to provide classroom essentials like pencils, notebooks, crayons, folders, and other basic tools.

This project will provide my students with the materials they need to participate fully in classroom activities and take pride in their learning.

Having access to their own supplies will help them become more independent, responsible, and confident in their abilities.

With these resources, my students will be able to write stories, solve math problems, express themselves through art, and organize their work. More importantly, they’ll learn that their education is valuable and that there are people who believe in their potential.
