Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come from a Title I school with a high level of poverty and mostly low-income families. These families have trouble providing the basic supplies for 7 high schools classes, such as paper, folders, and pencils. Some of my students are also English language learners and others have disabilities. Despite their adversities, they are bright, creative, and want to learn.

As a teacher, I try my best to supply my students with as many supplies as possible so they don't have to worry about money and can instead worry about their education.

The supplies I have requested will help freshman biology and sophomore environmental science students with basic supplies to complete hands-on science projects and labs. This will enhance their education greatly!
