Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year, we seem to accumulate more materials for our students, whether it's curriculum guides, binders, books, folders, or supplies. As a result, it becomes increasingly challenging for students to stay organized and keep track of their belongings. Space is a significant issue in the classrooms, and I want to start the new school year with each child feeling successful and having designated places for their materials. There are too many instances when desk drawers are overflowing with work, or students struggle to find their supplies because everything is jumbled together.

Being organized is a crucial skill, and if learned at a young age, it can benefit them into adulthood.

The storage ottoman would serve two purposes: it can hold their books for the book club, a notebook, and writing materials, while also providing a special space for them to read. This not only promotes organization but also enhances the value of reading.
