it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help provide the opportunity to expose my students to the very popular game of Pickleball. This game is great for people of all athletic abilities and therefore perfect for a class setting. Pickleball will allow my students the opportunity to practice hand/eye coordination and agility while moving their bodies and improving cardiovascular capacity. We will use paddles and nets to play games during class. Bounce/catch drills with tennis balls are a great lead in activity for paddle sports and will be helpful when introducing this new sport. Additionally, this equipment will provide the opportunity to learn and practice good teamwork and sportsmanship.
