This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"Who's a champ?" " I'm a Champ!" My students chant out loud everyday to remind themselves that they are champions in learning.
The spark for learning starts in the heart of these little children in Kindergarten.
They need technology to enhance their learning and continue to grow as a champion. Having access to digital learning and online resources through technology will broaden their young mind and assist them become a learner they hope to be when they shout, "I'm a champ!"
My Project
Having technology such as a document reader and a projector will enhance my guided lessons by providing my Kindergarteners with the visual assistance they need. Modeling is such an important step in teaching Kindergarten, and being able to project the teaching materials on a big screen will be so much more effective than drawing things on a paper. I can also project many educational video resources to incorporate technology in my daily lessons. Implementing technology is a must in today's education and a document reader and a projector are the essential tools to make it happen in a classroom filled with curious little minds ready to learn.
