We come from many different backgrounds and different socioeconomic statuses, but we all come together for one reason: we love to learn.
We are all students in Ms. Dayries' Kindergarten classroom.
We all learn differently, and enjoy moving our little bodies around all the time! When we're working, we enjoying sitting in a space that's most comfortable to us.
When Ms. Dayries brings in new furniture, it fills our hearts with joy! (But I know she needs some help to have some more for us!)
My Project
Flexible seating allows for my Kindergarteners to move their wiggly bodies! As students work throughout the day, they are able to sit where they please. As I have learned for myself, I do my best learning when I am in a comfortable spot. We are asking for ottomans to sit on, bean bags (our favorite!), floor cushions, Exercise Ball Chair and wobble cushions. These are all seatings that we enjoy and find comfortable.
Flexible seating allows the students to choose the best place for them to work and be the most successful!
Currently, we have a few options for flexible seating in our classroom but we are needing more. Please help us fund this project so that my Kindergarteners can do our best learning in our Kindergarten classroom!
