I teach in a low income, very close, tight knit community school. It's a school where everybody knows everybody by name, kind of like a big family.
Due to limited finances, many of our students do not have technology at home or resources to build STEM skills.
Because of our remote location, many households do not even have access to the Internet from home. Due to this, technology and Internet exposure is critical to these students while they are at school. With such emphasis on STEM projects now, I want to be able to have the technology to allow my students to develop 21st Century skills.
My Project
This projector will be used with my students to enhance their classroom experiences. With the portability, if I need to move around with my class, this will be able to go with us as well.
This projector will allow all my students to have exposure and be involved in technology based lessons together.
Due to our remote location and limited incomes, most students do not have access to many different types of technology and STEM related materials.
This allows them to be able to see things that they may not be able to outside of our school setting and the projector would allow us to share this as a class and not be limited to only one or two students seeing and using this.
