Help me give my students more opportunities for growth. I am requesting individual dry-erase boards to encourage students to participate in classroom activities. Promoting active learning, and improve their memory and cognitive function.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am currently in my first year of teaching Principles of Health Science, as well as a Registered Nurse. I have found that my students enjoy talking about mental health and want time to focus on their minds and want tools that allow them to talk about problems that they may have. I have also found that having more activities that involve open forums, provides maximum participation. Individual dry-erase boards will help my students participate in a group setting without having to talk, as there are shy students in classes.
