Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have students on campus who have been disagnosed with dyslexia that will benefit academically with the aid of the dyslexia reading pens. In addition, other students with disabilities will have additional reading access to curriculum that would otherwise be too difficult.
The monitor requested will help support compliance of all areas of disabilities on our campus, including, but not limited to, students and teachers with vision impairments.
We can also use the monitor to help give individualized instruction to students that are receiving dyslexia based training as well as use it for compliance to help support students with individualized education plans.
With these supports, my school will continue to be a leader in the community for the education of students with disabilities and students that struggle with the English language, our school has a predominately Hispanic population.
