This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to create a cozy corner using the bean bag chairs, and the whiteboards and markers will help make collaboration easier and more accountable. I really want to establish a portion of my classroom that is really soft

Creating a safe, comfortable learning environment is the first step in getting students to be more prepared to learning, and this project would significantly help me accomplish that.

The appearance of the classroom is the first thing students notice, and if they see that the room is warm and friendly, it will help them let their guard down and be more prepared to learn. The whiteboards and makers will make it so that bell work at the beginning of class is more accountable (since I can see if students have completed it or not) and it makes the class more interactive and more easily allows shy students to share their responses with me.
