Project Comfortable and Organized Classroom

Help me give my students tools to keep our classroom organized and running smoothly. Student engagement greatly improves with minimal distractions. My students will benefit from round floor cushions providing clearly marked spaces to independently read.

My Project

Whiteboard desk circles, soft cushions for independent reading, and a technology charging/organization center will help students to transition between activities and minimize distractions.

My goal is to provide my students with an easy, accessible way to independently respond to math questions at their desk.

These whiteboard circles can be quickly cleaned so third and fourth graders can move to the next activity.

I like to provide my students with a chance to move away from their desk throughout the day. When it is time for students to read independently, they will benefit from the soft, circle cushions. This will provide a comfortable place to get lost in a chapter book.

Third and fourth graders use laptops frequently throughout the day. These devices are often checked out for home use. Consequently, laptops are often returned to school with low battery and in need of a quick charge. The charging station in this project will help students get laptops up and running quickly. The headphone organization center will ensure tangled headphones are minimized and easily accessible to students.

My third and fourth graders are enthusiastic, hardworking students. They love to engage in a variety of learning experiences throughout the day. This project will assist them in having a comfortable organized classroom.
