My Project

Many students in the inclusion classroom setting require a multi-sensory approach to engage in information that for most students are non-preferred. Teachers have allowed students to use different modalities to experience learning and demonstrate understanding in project-based assessments. Many projects require basic art supplies to include poster paper, poster boards, markers, paint, paint brushes, etc. Writing on challenging topics (philosophical views, self-character and awareness, atoms & protons, etc) can be difficult. However, when students are given the choice to be creative with multi-sensory projects, it motivates and increases retention of information and much more!
