Project Based Learning Tech for Kinders

My Students

I am a first-year teacher in rural Ohio. I teach kindergarten students in the morning and first grade reading in the afternoon. My students are just beginning their academic careers when they enter my room, and I want them to be comfortable and ready to learn! I am looking to incorporate Project Based Learning (PBL) in my classroom.

Project Based Learning provides students with opportunities to dive deep into a topic they are interested in which takes learning to the next level!

These types of learning activities also help students take ownership in their learning and create critical and logical thinkers. Thank you for your consideration and support.

My Project

I am implementing Project Based Learning opportunities in my kindergarten class this year! It is a very exciting way for students to take ownership of their learning and learn how to think critically and problem solve.

Project Based Learning incorporates student led learning with multiple ways for the students to show what they have learned!

I am asking for an iPad and case so that my students can conduct research on their chosen topic, as well as create a portfolio of their work. Some students may also use the iPad and various apps to make a presentation of their project.
