My Project

How will the specific items you’re requesting make a difference in their learning?

The tablets will provide my young learners with hands-on, interactive experiences that build foundational Computer Science and Engineering skills.

With these devices, students can engage with age-appropriate coding apps, problem-solving games, and creative design tools that reinforce critical thinking, collaboration, and early computational thinking. Tablets will also offer differentiated learning opportunities, ensuring each child can progress at their own pace while developing essential 21st-century skills.

What are your goals for this project?

My goal is to create an engaging and accessible learning environment where my Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students can develop confidence in technology. With these tablets, I aim to introduce coding fundamentals, enhance digital literacy, and foster creativity through STEM-based activities. By integrating tablets into our lessons, students can experiment, collaborate, and develop problem-solving strategies that will prepare them for future learning in computer science and engineering.

What makes your students special?

My students are curious, innovative, and eager to explore the world of technology. Despite their young age, they are problem solvers, critical thinkers, and creators who thrive when given the right tools to express their ideas. Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds and may not have access to technology at home, making our classroom an essential space for them to develop digital skills that will shape their futures. Their enthusiasm for learning, combined with their limitless potential, makes them truly special and deserving of resources that will inspire and empower them.
