Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We do a lot of project-based learning where students are given topics and they create a poster or a display board or a book that teach other students about their topic. We have basic crayons and markers and regular round tipped scissors, however they can't really do fine details.

These materials will allow my students to really develop their fine motor skills and pay attention to the details.

My students will benefit from these materials by allowing them the experience to develop their fine motor skills, to slow down and pay attention to details, and to learn better how to cut intricate shapes. By second grade, students have mastered cutting basic shapes with round tipped scissors. These scissor will really allow them to hone those fine motor skills and cut very intricate designs and shapes.
