Help me give my students from a title one school science supplies and resources to continue learning about the environment and our world through hands-on and interactive learning experiences past April 22nd.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
I am a teacher in a Title 1 STEM School near downtown Casa Grande, Arizona. Many of my students come to school missing supplies and resources that will help them efficiently learn in the classroom. This project will give my student an assortment of materials to conduct environmental science lessons that include learning about the earth, making models of the earth and plant structures, experiencing learning cycles with supplies for the classroom like glue, pencils, and coloring resources.
Students want to learn about science!
Many simply lack the resources to get then involved in the lesson. Teaching over 200 students requires resources. Please help give my classroom the supplies we need to enable the next generation of Scientist.
We are requesting clay to make models, crayons, lamination pouches, and literature books to have in depth studies for the topics of discussion.
All of the supplies asked for will support students being able to construct projects with the lessons learned in class- the community supplies will teach the students to reduce their usage, reuse supplies, and recycle portions once done.
