My students need electronic accessories such as a docking station, a LCD projector, and a projector lamp in order to get the maximum advantage of using an iPad2 to supplement instruction.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our class has one iPad. However, the iPad can be attached to a LCD projector. By having a projector, the entire class would benefit by tutorials and lectures presented on the iPad.
My students represent a variety of ethnic cultures.
Many of them are from low-income families. They attend a public middle school located in California. All of my students are in the 8th grade. My students enjoy studying science, but we need current technology to enhance their learning experience.
My Project
Perhaps you are familiar with the iPad/iPad2, then I don't need to explain the endless possibilities to learning by using applications. Without sounding like a commercial, I have used applications for astronomy and chemistry as tutorials in class. This project will help to fund a LCD projector, VGA connector, and charger to accompany the iPad.
Some schools are riding on the wave of technology by issuing each student an iPad to deliver instruction.
Well, I consider myself fortunate to have just ONE iPad. I plan to use applications as whole group (entire class) activities, instead of rotating 3 - 4 students to use the iPad.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
