Project AAC (Part 1)

Help me give my students iPads to be used to help them expand their communication by expressing their wants and needs, protesting, greeting and engaging in social interactions!

My Project

In our special education preschool classes, our students use different ways to communicate. Many of our students have deficits in their language and/or communication, which impact their ability to fully participate in classroom activities as well as engage with peers.

We are seeking to provide our classroom with an iPad that we can install various communication apps on to help increase communicative opportunities for our students.

We hope to provide increased social and modeled social opportunities for our students to express wants, needs and emotions. Our goal is for our students to have access to a voice they may not have yet!
