Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Part of my job as a special education teacher is managing a caseload of students with IEPs and collecting data on their growth. I always try to find a way to make that more engaging for them so they are always encouraged to keep trying their best to reach their goals and beyond.

Our special education classroom could use some new math and literacy resources to reinforce and reteach skills in a more fun and engaging way!

These books will support data tracking and progress monitoring while allowing students to enjoy their learning. The lamination sheets will allow me to make copies for my small groups of learners and let them work on the pages using dry erase markers, so I won’t have to make new copies every year.
