My Students

I have 25 unique and eager students in my 3rd grade class this year. They are curious, creative, and ready to learn every day. We have a wide range of abilities which makes every day full of adventure and fun!

Many of my students' lives have been affected by the drug epidemic in our area, so when they come to my classroom I want to provide a fun, motivating environment for each of them.

Regardless of their individual needs these students love to learn and I would love to be able to give them the tools they need to do so!

My Project

Receiving these Sphero will allow my students to experience basic programming and introduce a skill that could ignite a future career for them in our rural area where these skills are highly sought after. By introducing my students to programming I am giving them skills that they can build on for their future, not just to get to the next grade. These robots will also help to make subjects like science, math, reading, and history come to life as we find different was to integrate them in to each lesson. These robots will make a huge impact on the engagement level in my classroom.
