My Students

My students thrive on challenges. When they see a problem, they want to work it through to a solution. When this problem involves the “real world”, they get extremely excited. When they see how they can impact the world, it makes them realize that they do matter.

My students realize the impact they can have on their futures.

Our school continues to remain at the forefront of education and student needs. Our school culture strives to create lifelong learners and readers. Our motto: “Passion for Success: Academics, Arts & Life” drives our students to become better citizens.

My Project

Computer programming opportunities abound in many industries. The future occupations available to qualified individuals increase daily. Employers find it difficult to hire people with the needed skills to fill those positions. These programmable drones will challenge and inspire students to learn coding. This knowledge almost insures a future. Application of drones expands through many different fields, such as: law enforcement, insurance, the power and telecommunications grids, environmental studies, and much more.

Programming’s problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking skills will challenge students to soar into their futures.

The students in my class learn how to create computer programs. With these drones, they will experience hands-on, real-world application of the programming they are creating. There is nothing more powerful in education than first-hand application of a learned skill. Middle school is an impressionable time when budding adults figure out who they are and that they are the programmers of their futures.
