My Project
I have 25 students coming from lower income households and I am looking for an easier start to help them this year. I have already bought a plethora of supplies and I need a small donation for a few things. Writing is very important, so this year I am asking for 25 composition notebooks this year, my students will be assigned journaled - writing assignments 2-3 times per week. Continuing on my path to improve writing skills, electric sharpeners are just one of those smart tools that make working a little easier. Having an electric sharpener will help by speeding up a usually distracting classroom process.
I also included mechanical pencils because I find that mechanical pencils not only improve students writing but mentally, students are more inclined to work using tools that look "cool" to them.
Lastly, I am requesting flip chart markers and dry erase markers. This is needed mostly for mathematics.
