Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our school is located in the Delta of Arkansas. My students are remarkable and often surprise me with their dedication and willpower. Even though many of them come from poverty, they are impressive in the classroom and outside of the classroom.

As a teacher, I am proud of our student's behavior and manners when we have attended activities outside of the halls of CHS.

They represent our school with dignity and pride.

As we prepare our students for life after high school, they are asked to present and compete in oral presentations. We would like to invest in a professional background for presentations.

My Project

The presentation board will be used during presentations at school, in the community and at conferences.

Our students will have presentations that look professional and they will have pride in their product.

These boards will be used to display information, graphs and pictures to help with student presentations.

The boards are portable for easy travel and can be used when our students make presentations to community partners, local organizations and committees our students serve on as representatives.

Students are learning life skills to prepare for life after graduation. We are hoping to prepare all our students to present themselves in the community, state and world.
