Professional Portfolio Photo Studio for Pathway, College Admission, and Scholarships

Help me give my students the ability to create a professional looking portfolio to apply for college and scholarships by funding a lighting box, camera, tripod, and lights.

My Project

According to the new graduation pathway, seniors need to present a portfolio of their past and present work to fulfill a graduation requirement. Students need to maintain a catalog of their work and digitally is the way of the future. Students will learn to photograph their art, catalog and curate a portfolio, and adapt their work to shine on a digital platform. The mini studio will be set up for them to be able to professionally light their projects and take photos of them in order to create a digital portfolio for pathway submission, college applications, and art competition entry.

Many colleges and scholarship opportunities require an art portfolio.

This is another reason that my students need a professional way to photograph and catalog their art work. To keep the arts alive, students need this opportunity to apply for art schools and apply for scholarships in a professional manner. Working in a school where the arts are so desired, but funding is extremely limited or nonexistent, this opportunity would be a huge game changer!
