I teach at a high-performing high school and am lucky to teach two Earth Science classes of motivated, curious honors students. At the end of every major unit or standard in Science, I offer my inquisitive students an opportunity to research a topic that has piqued their interest. Some choose to use digital resources such as making a Canva infographic or a Google Slide show to share what they have learned while others like to create a brochure or a poster. I want to expand this option to include the use of presentation boards. I have selected large tri-fold cardboard presentation boards on which the students can easily share their research. My students find out the most amazing facts, nuances, and details when given a chance to work on something they are interested in. I think they will love being allowed to make a professional presentation using these boards. Thank you for your support of my students and my classroom.
