Help me give my students tools including stressballs, sensorytoys, snacks, while providing myself with textbooks and workbooks to expand my professional development of working with students with Autism, help learn skills to manage emotions and improve social skills.

My Project
Working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder offers educators a dynamic and meaningful opportunity for professional growth. By incorporating these new materials of books, activity workbooks, and sensory objects into my work with these students, it can enhance my skills and help myself adapt to diverse learning needs, and deepen my understanding off best practices in special education. Funding of this project will expand my knowledge of Autism and the diverse learning profiles of students with this disorder. Using a variety of resources encourages educators to explore how students with autism process information differently, whether it be through visual supports, tactile engagement, or auditory stimuli. By integrating new materials, it will help me reflect and refine my teaching strategies, and encourage engaging learning environments.
