Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students will benefit from my professional development by learning best-practices in the areas of vocabulary instruction, comprehension and writing. I am currently a candidate to become a National Board Certified Teacher. These resources will aid this process by providing high-quality lessons that I will teach to my students. Additionally, our school-wide focus is on vocabulary and I have been giving assignments to all students in the school to help them expand and practice their vocabulary skills. I look forward to learning more about how I can support struggling learners with the resources I have requested.
