My Project

With high quality maker tools like craft knives and colored pens, students can create 3d paper cards to be donated to Cards for Kindness, a global initiative to get handmade cards to people who are in need of an emotional boost, a smile, or a helping hand. In conjuction with digital cutters already in the classroom, students can complete personalized products with mini irons for heat transfer vinyl designs. A selfie light set up will allow students to create videos that help highlight their product.

When students think of others, they begin to build empathy and develop a broader worldview.

With these tools and materials, students can express their themselves while creating products for themselves and others.
