Middle school students have busy bodies and need active projects to engage in. When students are given open ended design challenges, organized chaos arises, but productive learning results. In order to balance the pandemonium of consumable supplies and foster forward creative thinking, the students need materials readily accessible and tools for its intended purposes. Students often use classroom scissors to cut or poke holes in thick cardboard whereas cardboard scissors or cutters and screwdrivers would be safer and more appropriate. Tape of all sorts have been used to secure materials together instead of a hammer or nail, or cutting slits in cardboard to form joints. In order to measure or calculate the length of larger projects, students have laid multiple meter sticks side by side instead of using a tape measure. The clear storage bins would allow all students to easily see the materials available so that they all can use them and return them to their proper locations. By donating to this project, you can help unlock the creativity of the next generation as they build their future.
