Problem Solving with STEM Robots

Help me give my students Dash robots, tablets and challenge cards to practice STEM concepts, computer coding, and problem solving skills.

My Students

My students work incredibly hard to master skills. They are willing to try new things and ask many questions. Their ability to think through different issues and discuss deeper topics inspires me every day.

I know that the right materials will help my students continue to learn, grow and excel in skills that will help them in and out of the classroom.

I want to be able to help my students develop critical thinking skills in the safe environment of my classroom. There's nothing I love more than assisting my students as they work through different skills and come out victorious.

My Project

Students need a chance to develop problem solving skills and become familiar with the technology that is so common in our lives today. What better way than to do that with the Dash robots? Students will complete the challenges on the cards and in the apps on the tablets using computer code in a fun and engaging way. Their robot will be able to respond to their code to give immediate feedback in whether they were successful or need to return to the code and come up with a better solution.

Students will be able to develop the skills needed to see a problem through to a successful ending.

My 5th graders love to see the solution to challenges they were able to solve. These resources will allow problems to be presented to my students through the cards and apps, and then provide them with the opportunity to think through and solve these problems with their robots.
