My Project

I have had a FIRST LEGO League team for several years, and this year I have decided to add the LEGO Spike Prime robot to my robotics class. Our motto is “See a need, fill a need.” I believe that if we see something that needs to be done, it is our responsibility to take care of it.

I want every child that is interested in robotics to have the opportunity to participate in First Lego League, but I am only able to have 10 children on my LEGO after school traveling team.

There are more students that are interested than I can have on one team, but I can add these robots to my class curriculum. I want all of my students to be able to experience building and coding a robot. In order to achieve this I need about 10 Spike Prime robots.

FLL has so much to offer my students, but they can not all share one robot, because each team has to brainstorm and build the robot that they need to complete the tasks that they are given.

This program teaches so many valuable lessons on how to work as a team and the true spirit of friendly competition as well as gracious professionalism.

Please help me by donating a Spike Prime robot, field mat and teacher activity book so my students can have all the tools they need to be successful.
