My Students
My students come from varied backgrounds and each student has something unique to offer. They are SO BRILLIANT! I have students studying various literary forms including essays, short stories, novels, and poetry.
These amazing children fall into different financial categories, many being from low-income families.
Although they face financial hardships, they are enthusiastic about learning and absolutely love projects that stimulate their creative sides. Our school is a Title-I funded school in a low-income rural area in Pahrump, NV. Our entire school receives free lunch and breakfast.
My Project
My project involves the use of easels for students to learn while participating in cooperative learning projects.
Students will be able to participate in differentiated learning while challenging each other to complete tasks in group settings.
A focus will be on mastering our standards in areas of both reading and writing for 7th- and 8th-grade students.
These resources will help aid in supplementing instruction as well as remediating academic gaps caused in part by the last two years of Covid-affected education. I would love to have your support to help make this happen.
