My Project
An Apple TV would be a valuable asset for our classroom. One of its many uses would be connected to our Smartboard and allow for remote use of our iPad Pro throughout the room. What's written on the iPad will project onto the Smartboard as I can move about and assist as needed. This new technology will allow me to live stream our iPad and walk around the room while writing, highlighting, and emphasizing key material from the palm of my hand.
An Apple TV would bring new technology skills all accessible through an iPad Pro.
Students would be able to access iMovie to create and edit video presentations, I can teach without facing the board, and having my back to the students and exposure is key. Exposure is key to teaching, and unfortunately, apple products are few in our school. This project will allow them to learn about new apps for video editing, math fluency, coding, and placing a mobile whiteboard in our hands aiding in instant feedback.
