My Project
Our class project Pro Teaching 2023 was fully funded recently. This is an extension to receiving an iPad Pro for our classroom. The iPad will be connected to our Smartboard and used remotely throughout the room. What's written on the iPad will project onto the Smartboard as I am able to move about and assist as needed. This new piece of technology will allow me to walk around the room while writing, highlighting, and emphasizing key material from the palm of my hand.
The items for this project will allow us to use and benefit from the iPad's key features with the Apple pencil accessories for many years to come.
Students would be able to access iMovie to create and edit video presentations, I can teach without facing the board, and having my back to the students and exposure is key. Exposure is key to teaching; unfortunately, our school has few Apple products. This project will allow students to learn about new apps for video editing, math fluency, coding, and placing a mobile whiteboard in our hands aiding in instant feedback.
