My Project

This year, I've recognized levels of anxiety and stress in my kiddos that I have not seen in my twenty years in education. We teach social-emotional learning and a big part of that is self-care. By providing a choice of self-care products in my prize bin, I'm hoping to add some zen to my classroom. This is especially key at my school because my students come from low-income homes that often don't have necessities. Most of my kiddos have never had any "pampering items" such as lip balm or bath bombs.

In addition to Zen, I'd love to give my students experiences they wouldn't otherwise have.

I'm asking for golf balls and golf tees because my students, who are learning how to golf in PE class, are dying for materials they can practice with. They are learning how to be patient and hold their focus simply by playing the game of golf. Together, these pampering items and golf supplies will raise my prize box to the next level.
