Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our 6th grade students have a STEM event that we run every year called Caine's arcade where they use their building skills in order to create a cardboard arcade game to play with their fellow 6th graders.
For Caine's arcade, we would like to have decorations for our Photo Booth and walls like door decorations and posters and prizes like pens and fidgets to make it really special for the students!
Students are making cardboard arcade games, and we will be using these items to earn prizes for playing the games correctly and for hard work and effort on their stem projects
All of the proceeds from Caine's go to a local fundraiser such as a food closet so that we can help improve our area! We want to have the best experience they can at our school!
