Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I would like to implement a positive behavior program for my students. I am planning on setting up a reward system where students get to choose from a variety of items based on the number of points they've earned. As a teacher I feel like I should highlight the students who are doing positive things so they can continue the good behavior. I thought of this idea after I noticed several students who felt neglected and started misbehaving to get attention. I am asking for snacks and small prizes to reward students. Small acts and rewards can make a big impact!
